In anticipation for the festivities for the coming St. Patty’s Day, I have let out my B0V1NE-09 and green calves to walk around the farm and enjoy themselves. There’s nothing like being green for St. Pat!

That being said, the wife has been feeling green, I mean sick, over the past couple of days. It seems that with every week being cause for celebration, the wife is having trouble keeping up! I’m sure she’ll be fine soon.

Pot of GoldToday St. Patrick’s day seems to have come early! Like the Valentine’s gifts, a new Pot of Gold has come upon us. Collect as much gold as possible and trade them in for special items!

Amongst those items is a Shamrock Sheep (similar to the Love Ewe). The Mystery Gifts also have some new contents, including a new pig and goat! Check out the Almanac to discover more about them!

I also decided to show off my new Mastery Sign arrangement. Do you like it?

Yellowstone

Well it would appear that an exhibit has come into town to show off Yellowstone National Park! They even brought live elk for the kids. Everyone has been talking about how similar elk are to reindeer but truth is, they are essentially the same animal (in real life).

I’ve updated the Almanac with my observations on this beautiful animal. Don’t forget that McFarmVille also has a Twitter and Facebook Page!

Valentine's Day

Feel the love

Have you been enjoying your valentine’s gifts? My mailbox is overflowing! I have so many teddies and flowers that I can’t even keep them in the house! The wife is getting a little jealous but I have something very special in store for her on the big day…

The mystery gift has been showing some new gifts in time for Valentine’s as well so if anyone has been getting a little bored of them, maybe now is a good time to start collecting again. I’ve updated the Almanac to reflect my latest discoveries.

Well that tailgate party turned out to be the biggest joke this side of… well, FarmVille! It just goes to show that not everything you read or hear is necessarily true and that we should not get carried away in the thrill of the news/rumor.

In any case, I did receive a whole bunch of Valentines in the mail today! My wife even made me a special box to store them in. My neighbors sure are a friendly bunch! As always, I spent my day working long and hard on the farm. I’ve been keeping from redecorating the farm, preferring to sit Valentine’s day out this time around. It’s more of a Hallmark holiday anyway. I try to make every day special for my misses.

Finally, the Almanac has been updated in the Animal, Tree, and Mystery Gift sections to reflect today’s updates.

Construction Fiesta

Flimsy... but exciting!

What a day! I took a long walk along the road today and came across a cow dressed up as a referee! I couldn’t resist and took him home with me. I wonder if it will breed baby referee calves? I also hired a construction crew to start work on a new horse stable. My many horses will finally have a home to stay in!

The market released a new catalogue featuring Valentine’s Day items. Amongst them were a whole bunch of new animals, including a Pink Patch Cow which can produce Pink Patch Calves! So many new things hit the market today so here’s a quick run down of what’s new in the almanac:

- Animals have been added.
- Flowers have been added.
- Mystery Box 14 contents have been added.

Huge Day!

I took the night off last night for an evening with my wife. We all need to make sure relationships stay healthy and strong! Today however, was a big day! I went to town to see city hall about getting my land expanded. Turns out that even as a fan, I can’t upgrade yet. Seems like another promise broken. In any case, I did like the new display they had downtown. A big celebration is being had about the Yukon, which is in Canada if you didn’t know. I’d love to get a moose but I can’t afford it.

I am curious about the mystery gifts my neighbors have been sending me! There are so many prizes inside, you’ll just have to keep your eyes on the Almanac to find out what can be found! If you’re wondering why there isn’t a picture to go with my blog today, that’s because my camera broke! For some reason, all my photos don’t include me. Word is, the game is a little glitchy today.

Fine Line between crop and animal

Hard At Work

What an amazing day! I don’t even know where to begin! FarmVille has begun a Cow themed week and in celebration, I built a cow silo on my farm. Many neighbors have also gifted some Starfruit trees and I can’t wait to see them when the fruit bloom! I’ve also seen some neighbors planting some Morning Glory flowers and they look amazing, to say the least.

I went over to the wife’s farm (yes, she has one too!) and found that she had left a bag of chicken feed by her coop. Being the wonderful husband I am, I proceeded to feeds her chickens. When I returned to my farm, my own chickens had produced golden mystery eggs! Perhaps the new chicken feed has something to do with these mysterious eggs? This week is turning out to be quite a busy one but I can’t complain. I spent the day recording my observations on these new crops so keep an eye on my almanac!
