This link does not appear on FarmVille.com and you cannot claim the 3 farm cash if you are already a fan of Bing or become a fan without first clicking the sponsored link on FarmVille.

Again, the 3 free farm cash is only given by clicking the sponsored link on FarmVille’s facebook page, which opens a flash pop-up window that will ask you to become a fan. This is the only valid link.

It appears that as of tonight, some very select special users of FarmVille can find secret locked Mystery Boxes while plowing their farms. These Mystery Boxes are locked with a code that is found via e-mail from FarmVille. This feature WILL make its way to all users eventually.

Rumored contents of this Mystery Box include golden chickens, Mammoth Statue and Totem Pole. More news as it comes!

McFarmVille’s Facebook Fan Page has hit a milestone today: 250 fans! In hopes that this will be the first of many (next target: 500!), I have changed the look of the website to something far more user friendly and less busy. Things should be much easier to find now and more interesting to look at to boot! I know many people have been subscribing to the website and rest assured, subscribed users will be getting more use out of their subscriptions (beyond commenting) soon!

*UPDATE* Super Pumpkin are back on the market but for how long is up for debate. Yesterday’s podcast announced the deadline as 11:50pm PST on January 30th but the forum topic depicts February 2nd as the last day. Now these are what I call pumpkins! Just a short post today in the wee hours of the morning: Super Pumpkins were NOT extended as promised.

The crop has disappeared from the market as of 11:59pm EST on January 29th rather than 11:59 PST of January 30th (as was announced on Zynga’s podcast dated January 29th). Whether this is an oversight, a mistake, or a glitch remains to be seen but you can be rest assured that many users are upset and demanding a new round to compensate, having spent long hours trying to catch up and get their mastery.

Free Fuel Week has begun in FarmVille! That means that all of us happy farmers are collecting our daily free fuel tank, sharing 1/5 fuel tanks with our neighbors, and receiving 1/5 fuel tanks as gifts. This is a good week for harvesting/plowing/seeding your plots en masse so get to it!

Today was a very busy day on the farm. Nearly all of my trees and animals were ready for harvest and you can imagine how long that took me! Thankfully my crops aren’t due until tomorrow. A wonderful thing happened in one of the dairy farms though! A lovely pink calf was born to very relieved cow this afternoon. I do hope whomever adopted her will treat her well.
